Walter’s Surf Shop and Surf School is a 100% owned and managed by Costa Rican’s, with fully bilingual staff.  
His owner Ricardo has always been a lover of beach and surf mostly wanted to combine his passion and love of surfing with all the people who see in this sport an escape from daily stress that often we all have.

At Walter´s  Surf Shop and Surf School we combine the art of surfing with the opportunity to share with nature that surrounds Jaco beach, creating a balance of freedom and excitement while maintaining a respect and at times a sense of fusion with all our senses in the end gives us peace, adventure, fun and a sense of seeing the world differently.

Located at beautiful Jaco Beach, Walter´s  Surf Shop and Surf School seek and gathered a team consisting of professional surfers, including the famous Mauricio Jimenez (TULE), a well  known designer of surfboards in Costa Rica and national champion for 6 years who will be your instructor in class surfing.

Our surf lessons are designed for all kinds of people, adults, children, men and women of all ages who want to learn to surf with excellent results.

At Walter´s Surf Shop and Surf School in Jaco, we do not only give surfing lessons, we also offers a shop that sells and rent surfboards as well as new and used , clothing, accesories and recognized brands in the world as they are, Rusty, Lost, FCS and many more.
