Breakdown:
Caribbean Coast - Strong storms push in some minor wind
swell from the NE early in the week, and by Thursday a second more
powerful systems brings some chest high surf by late Thursday and a foot
bigger Friday from the NNE. The angle will keep some spots small, while
other will be going off if the wind stays offshore. It quiets down
quickly Friday and is back to knee high by next Sunday.
Pacific Coast - As expected the last 1-2 foot overhead sets
leave with the tide on Tuesday, leaving surf a foot smaller each day
through to Sunday chest high leftovers. On Monday the rising tide will
also usher in another pulse of Southwest swell with waves 1 foot
overhead for the Central Pacific and a foot smaller farther to the
north.
The Long Shot - Next Tuesday it grows another foot and stays
big through Wednesday morning (10/13). Then it drops off quickly leaving
a whole week of small surf with little relief on the horizon. End of
October blues...
